Reclaimed Art | Giving Discarded Materials New Life

​My first passion is recycling. I believe that materials once considered unwanted or discarded deserve a second life through creativity.

​

I actively seek out discarded artwork, salvaged prints, and reusable papers from creative reuse stores and recycling centers throughout Virginia. These forgotten materials become the foundation of my artwork, transformed into new compositions through collage, ink, paint, and mixed media.

​

My collection includes one-of-a-kind works in a variety of sizes, from miniature ACEO art cards to larger compositions. Some pieces feature carefully layered and hand-embellished materials, while others preserve the original colors, textures, and patterns of reclaimed prints.

​

​For me, recycling comes first. Art is how I give discarded materials a new purpose.
