This series of abstract digital paintings captures the mystical beauty of twilight, as seen from my condo terrace in Alexandria. Inspired by the daily sunsets, each piece blends hues of gold, brown, and blue—my favorite color combination—to create visual layers that evoke depth and emotion. These paintings invite contemplation, reflecting the serene yet dynamic essence of the sunset, offering viewers a moment of tranquility and introspection.
Paintings in this series received awards from The Underground Gallery and The Van Landingham Gallery, and juried into shows at Del Ray Artisans and The Virginia Artists Association (2024)

The sky bleeds amber, spilling its heart across the horizon, a quiet surrender
to the night. The sun, weary yet bold,
dips slowly, its descent a gentle sigh,
rushing the treetops with fleeting warmth.
In this moment, the world holds its breath, the air thick with the scent of pine and salt, a lingering sweetness that tugs at the soul.
